On some Samsung models, the entire ice-maker compartment frosts over and needs a proper defrost plus a diagnosis of why it iced up in the first place.

What You Can Check First

Confirm the ice maker is switched on and the freezer is cold enough (about 0°F), check that the water filter is not overdue for replacement, and make sure the fill line and supply valve behind the fridge are open and not kinked. If water reaches the ice maker but it still will not cycle, the module or inlet valve likely needs professional replacement.
